Thirty-two feature films in two sections — the Summer Showcase and War & Peace — this August in the capital.
Filmfest DC Summer is the new satellite festival of the Washington, DC International Film Festival. This year's Filmfest DC award winners return to the screen (dates and times to be announced), while twenty-seven nominated features compete for our awards — revealed at the Closing Night ceremony on August 9. The opening ceremony will be held between August 5 and 7.
Voted by audiences and honored by juries at Filmfest DC's 40th anniversary festival — five features that anchor the War & Peace section of our first summer program.
